TaxPrime Filing Process
How it works?
- Sign Up and Start: Begin by creating your account with some basic information.
- Enter Additional Information: Provide more specific details related to your employment.
- Upload Required Documents: Upload necessary documents such as your ID, 194 (Optional), and W-2.
- Provide Banking Information: We require information for a US Bank account with your name on it for direct deposit of your refund(s). If you do not have a US bank account, you can also use the WISE money transfer app to access a US account and routing number. If neither option is available, you will need to open a US bank account to receive your refund via direct deposit.
- Review and Edit Your Data: Double-check all data entered and make any necessary corrections.
- Submit and Await Your Estimate: Once you submit your information, we will enter it into our tax software and provide you with the actual amount of your tax liability or refund within 48 hours or less. You will receive an email notification when your estimate is ready for viewing.
- Sign in to see your Estimate: Log in to see your tax refund or liability. In a small number of cases, you may owe money to the IRS. If this happens, it is not your fault, and we can help you understand your options.
- Submit Your Tax Refund Application: After reviewing your results, you will give us permission to submit your Federal and State tax forms (if applicable). You will receive a confirmation email once your return is accepted. If any issues arise with your return or submitted information, we will promptly reach out to you for resolution.
- Receive Your Refund: Once your tax forms have been accepted by the IRS, your refund will be issued. This may take up to 21 days. If you would like a status update, you can check it here. This applies only to the Federal return; each state has different tracking methods and time frames. Your refund will be issued according to your chosen method: direct deposit to a US bank account or a paper check to your home address
